Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal data The Money Sheets collects and why. Contact: hello@themoneysheets.com.
What we collect
- Orders: your name, email address, what you bought, order number and payment status. Your name and order number are stamped into your files to identify licensed copies.
- Checkout consent: the wording you agreed to, the time, and a one-way hash of your IP address (not the IP itself).
- Free mileage log and newsletter: your email and first name, and whether you asked for the newsletter.
- Technical logs: our host keeps short-lived request logs for security. We use privacy-friendly analytics with no cookies.
Why we use it
- To deliver your order and the download links, and to handle support and refunds (performing our contract with you).
- To prevent fraud and misuse of our files (our legitimate interests).
- To send product news: only if you ticked the newsletter box, or as a past buyer who didn't opt out. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who else processes it
- Stripe takes your payment and handles your card details under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card number.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and stores order records and download data.
- Our email provider sends order and download emails.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 6 years for tax and accounting. Checkout consent records are kept for about 4 months. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop marketing. Email us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first; you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
